i am being a bit cheeky & i am gonna ask who has made their own boilies before & if so what did yoiu find your best mix for the boilies or the worst.
i was thinking of making some fishy or spicy mix ones & i got the rough idea what to do but still a bit unsure of how & what ingredients to put in

Big and small carp |

Hi,
I recently been catching 4 lb carp (on average) this although is a fish is really getting me frustrated as i have 2 rods out and would like to keep catching the smaller carp on one and go for a good specimen on the other any ideas for both big and small carp!!!

i was fishing my local fisherie on wednesday and there were some youth there fishing they were being loud drinking swearing and causing basic trouble. but wot had realy got to me is that they were catching roach and ripping the hooks out then chucking them up in the air into the water then 1 of them had caught a nice size carp and started punching and booting it and an old boy a few pegs down from me had stood up to them and then they started to herass him in the end i thought it was... Hi folks, I want to start making my own groundbait to save some money using common household foods using mostly bread, but may also include sweetcorn, pellets etc (i've even heard tuna flakes!!).
