Hi Jake, Thanks for your comment.. It would be intereting to know just how many knots our forums members use. For coarsh fishing I only really use 2-3 differant knots.. I’m guessing its more for carp and sea fishing.

I only ever use these two knots: Palomar Knot – Uni Knot
I have never needed to use any others and that doesn’t change if I’m sea fishing or course fishing.
I do think this info is great though and I might have a go at some of these in the furture.
Start Fishing
I always use the Grinner knot with swivels and drop loop knot for loops…they have never let me down…with blood knots for my hooks…i only do coarse fishing so these serve me well but i often try other knots as well..always keep your options open i say.
