How many new to Angling know the very basics of our sport, sound silly i know but i ask because how often do you see someone doing everything the wrong way and think to your self 'he has not got a clue'i have many times,i don't try to make out i know everything because i don't but i do know the basics which is more than i can say for some i have seen fishing.
I am not going to point a finger in anyone's directions or age group but it looks to me as though the youngsters of today are not bothering to learn the very basic skills you need from plumbing the depth to fish care some even don't know a Roach from a Rudd, these are what i call basics and i do hope that anyone taking up our sport will take time out to learn them....basic skills but very important knowledge that will make you a better Angler in the long run and bank you more fish.

Wonder if I can fit into that group :)
I agree, simple things like setting up properly and checking the depth can have a huge impact on your catch rate. Fishing, and especially in match conditions I think, is like a race for knowledge.. The more you know about the venue, your peg and the best method to catch fish will give and edge on your competition and improve you catch rate in general.

Ok to post to the new page go to the Main Page
From there on the right side look for the "Meta" Section, there should be a link under saying something like site moderation.
From there you should have the main Dashboard, from there there will be a link called Posts, click that and then add new.
From there you can copy paste and format..
I'm going to do the one you just posted to see how it looks, let me know if you have any problems
