Code2110 Think you may find that as we here in the UK get hooks at extremely cheap prices so you may not get too many takers except for "novelty" value Now lets see a few photo's of fish you have caught on them (you not stock photos please)

Hi Madcaravanner.
Nice to hear from you. This weblog (thefishhook.blogspot.com) is created to support the craft men. I already helped them to exported big amount of tuna hook to Japan last year. As you know, some other parts of the world still use this traditional method to catch fish rather than using fish net. A product they use mean they support some people & environment. Any way, it is also cheap compare with the factory made. Get it from the poor areas, lost of companies earn much money as taking to the West & American where craft works are much more expensive. All your stuffs you use now are made mostly in China & here even the branded ones. People know that they could catch fish by using a standard hook or standard fishing equipments however they will have a different feeling as doing something different. Have you ever thought to catch a 20lb fish by using a 10lb line? Try it out & you won't forget. Landing a big fish is a huge challenge. In my place, there are many similar fishing competitions. |
