Suppose you could have a look at my xgt advanced 12.5 m carp pole!
Its by leeda and aimed to the new or "clumsy" pole fisherman!
Strong as ever can handle 20+ Elastics and at home on any leading carp commercial water.

Hi Thomas

Don't know if you are still looking for a reasonable pole but I have always used Preston poles. I got my old man off his rod and reel tactics a few months ago and bought him a Preston Carp Match Power 14.5m Pole. It's a great all round pole that can handle mid-teens carp and coarse fish too. It's got an elastic rating of 20 but if your only coarse fishing I would go with an 8 or 10 elastic, however, for commercial fisheries with sizable carp change to a 14 just in case. There's nothing more annoying for you and harmful to the fish than a snap up on a commercial water if you are fishing too light.

Hope this helps if you are still looking for a pole or to upgrade whatever you have bought?
