Sounds ambitious scott i wish you luck with it, with regards to what i want in a commercial its the usual stuff mate, good facilities for anglers especially if they have youngsters with them a lot of fisheries have those "turdis" plastic toilet cubicles and my daughter wont go near them, some decent shelter incase the weather gets horrible and of course a good mix of decent sized coarse fish always goes down well.
My brother in law works for the ea he reckons they can give you advice and point you in the direction of funding( in some cases) but he says they will always be happy to advise would be developers, i suppose if they get involved everyones a winner. Good Luck |

Scott,
Good luck with the fishery. As someone who is disabled and has just started a website for the disabled in particular. I would like to see things like good paths and pegs for the disabled.

i think to have a good fishery you need:
to reguarly stock fish, hold matches (not to many tho) disabled pegs and good paths, a car park ( a space for each peg), toilets, a tackle shop is always handy, a breeding spot for the fish(which is not aloud to be fished) and keep the day tickets cheap, as it puts many people off fishing there, ect ect |
