Not that I'm aware of

Trees and branches don't look much different to fishing rods/pole and anyway they ALL cast shadows on the water

people have been painting there top kits white or silver? as i got told it stops reflection on the water? again i personaly thing this is a load of crap, a 13 or 16 meter pole casts a shadow no matter what colour it is? i may start painting my feet pink and say its stops rats running round your peg? or my hands red as it reflects heat?

Just like a certain angler with his white hat ! the point is some Anglers will believe anyhting that's written or said on TV as being the truth without checking out for themselves

Warrior and I have been maggot drowning for so long we've seen fads come - go and come back again
Take my Bologna style rod at 17' it's almost like a pole -- when poles first came in some bright spark stuck rings and a reel to one to fish the Trent in what we now call Bologna style
