homemade floats.

I know it isn't necesary to be able to make your own floats, but i enjoy having a crack at these things. Is there anyone who knows how to make good homemade floats?

Re: homemade floats.

i have used bottle corks, empty tippex bottles, pen tubes, polystyrene pieces, drinking straws, etc as floats.

I tend to paint floats all white as i think the red is too visible to the fish, who may have learnt that red floats mean danger. White looks more like the sky from below, and is also often easier for the angler to see than red, especially in low light conditions.
