I have the Middy Rythm Stikk... my personal opinion is its fantastic as a starter pole! Not something you want to use for life.. its only 7 meters but its quite light.. you get two pre-elasticated tops with it.. about £40-50

hey flynny

if you just want a really cheap strong margin pole for commercials ive heard good things about the middy white knuckle. its 6m, comes with 2 elasticated top 2s (heavy ~20s and light 8-10s) and its only 35 quid brand new on ebay! i even bought one! havent had chance to try it yet though so cant give an idea of how it handles but 1st impressions on weight and crispness are excellent for the price tag.

ive been away from fishing for about the past 4 years to and i used to have the shimano technium competition 1250, excellet pole but it seems they dont make it any more with it being superseeded by the shimano technium XTA, as warrior says. If its anythin like the competition it should be an ace pole and i will probably look into buying one myself when i get back into match fishing!

I think you'll find it that price anywhere too and no P&P
I'm an Ebay trader (fine porcelain) but some folk are real robbers when it comes to P&P so you have to watch out - always check locally who's got what you've got your eyes on

Talking Free Poles

If you go to Tacklesaver you can get a free pole when you sign up to their fishing tackle at trade prices club - I noticed that they had an 8m pole worth £39.99 free of charge with this special offer...

Yes to get their FREE gift you have to pay them £25 and one of my local tackle shops is selling the 8m pole for £19.99

you see any tackle purchase is swings and roundabouts it's always worth shopping round
