hi there i have a shakespere float kit and when i set it up it seems that the top of the float is is lower than other floats of the same type , i am setting it up as follows

elastic knot
bead
float
weight
bead
swivel then exta line with hook

as the sea is a little wavy sometimes the movement brings the float under the water slighty as only the tip is showing making it hard to tell if i got bites or not , i know the weight is correct for the float so what can or could be going wrong , this has now happened a few times and is driving me nuts , even if i am still catching lol it would be easier to see a bite if i could see more of the float , cheers

Hi Jock....what size float is it? i think MC could answer this better than me really
