Where am I going wrong?
I have been sea fishing on and off since I was a young lad often catching good bags of fish. But, this year I have had no such success.
I have recently moved to Ceredigion in Wales, and I am spinning with Dexter lures, of rocks and beaches. I have been fishing late in the afternoon, and mostly towards high tide. What am I doing wrong?

watch where others are fishing too some places have hotspots that are teeming with fish and some places are blankers

Firstly, I dont think this you or even just in your area. I live in Falmouth in Corwall and after talking to all the other anglers around the area, it looks like there has been very low fish stocks over the past 12/18 months. I don't rightly know why it's happening but my guess would be local fishing trawlers taking more than whats allowed. And one a small scale it could just be due to an increase in people taking up the sport. If anybody else has any other idea about why this is happening then please leave a post because I would love to find out more about this as I thought this was just Cornwall but by the looks of things, it's a bigger problem. Cheers, Speak soon, Daz
