Hi Will - my best answers to your questions:
1. - I haven't course fished so i don't know - BUT i THINK - there is not MUCH difference. If there is - there wouldn't be to much different. 2. - Again - i haven't FLY FISHED in the sea - BUT - no - i don't THINK they are different - just a different rig set-up. 3. - Yes - casting is the same way. 4. - I myself have never done but some anglers may do so. 5. - Basicly - all of the sea fishing tackle is more ''tough'' and bigger then freshwater fishing tackle. Floats, weights, lures - everything will be bigger and much sturdier. 6. - Landing nets can come in usefull - especilly off boats and rocks - although it's best if they are telescopic. Yet again - these landing nets may have to be much bigger. 7. - I haven't personnaly used a pole in sea fishing. 8. - In ANY type of fishing - there is NO NEED to wear sunglasses - but yes - people do wear them to protect your eyes - and like in course fishing - they can help for you to sea the fish better - although the sea - as you know if a lot more cloudy and dirty - and even with polerised sunglasses - it would still be very difficult to spot the fish. 9. - Any sport is dangerous. But personnaly - out of fishing - i'd say sea fishing is the most dangerous. Climbing rocks, tides, waves and currebts and dangerous off a boat, too. 10. - My older brother, Matt always liked sea fishing from the age of 5 (he's 27 now) - he decided to take me - and i thought i'd give it a try - and now love it as much as he does! Any help? |
