fished at bexy , midnight friday till midday sat.
with dave & ashley , despite our best efforts it was another white wash 4 ashley ( gonna leave him at home next time)

it was a windless night with a bright moon shineing through the broken cloud .
ash was 1st in with a doggie, one of about a dozen we had between us and that was the only specie to show in darkness.

first light saw a riseing tide for h/w about 9am.
ash did his usual and pulled out a string of joey mackers + a small pollock.



while he was feathering we saw a gar leap , as i had found a float on the beach earlier an cobbled together a set up 4 gar .
before long ash had caught his first garfish



dave dug out a lighter rod for the float and we took turns on it while waiting for somthing to happen with the bottom fished baits, we had about half a dozen of them but missed loads of takes. nothing but the odd doggie on the other rods.

Probley downloaded them - but i'm not sure.
Garfish are a loveley species to catch - and can taste quite nice, too!
