Arrow The Top 3 Wreck Fishing Locations In Cornwall.

Hi Guys, here are the top 5 wrecks under the coast of Cornwall (by depth):

0 - 9 meters:
Name: HMS Warspite.
ID: 0123.
Date Built: September 1915.
Date Sank: April 1947.
Type: Battleship.
Legnth: 640ft.
Tonnage: 27500.
Construction: Steel.
Reason For Sinking: Went Ashore.
Latitude: 50.07.04N.
Longitude: 05.28.51W.
Depth: 8m.
Location: Original site near Prussia Cove, remainder west side of St. Micheals Mount.
Description: Salvage equipment still remains.
Launch From: Penzance.
Best Method: Ledgering.
Best Bait: Peeler crab.
Chances Of Catching: Conger-eel, tope and bass.

10 - 19 meters:
Name: Rubban.
ID: 0105.
Date Built: Octobar 1912.
Date Sank: December 1939.
Type: Steam Collier.
Legnth: 130ft.
Tonnage: 324.
Construction: Steel.
Reason For Sinking: Struck in Dales.
Latitude: 49.57.30N.
Longitude: 05.13.28W.
Depth: 18m.
Location: Lizard Point.
Description: Very broken up, but engine parts remain.
Launch From: Kennack Sands.
Best Method: Ledgering.
Best Bait: Peeler crab and sand-eel or sand-lance.
Chances Of Catching: Tope, conger-eel and dogfish.

20 - 29 meters:
Name: Lady Of The Isle.
ID: 0022.
Date Built: January 1940.
Date Sank: Octobar 1940.
Type: Royal Mail steam ship.
Construction: Steel.
Reason For Sinking: Struck a mine.
Latitude: 50.09.00N.
Longitude: 04.56.00W.
Depth: 29m.
Best Method: Ledgering.
Best Bait: Ragworm and mackerel.
Chances Of Catching: Tope and bass.

I always fish of wrecks - mainly for tope and small sharks - and i tottaly agree with everything on their - a great help - so thank you!

Thank you very much. I ussaly fish from the shore, i've only fished 5 times from a boat, and only once off a wreck, and that was the top one, HMS Warspite.
