Pike catches

Been out on the good old Norfolk Broads today and done five fish and two dropped runs, but been doing four fish min most trips....had a 5lb jack a 15lb+ a 16lb+ a 17lb10oz and a stunning 21lb02oz lady........a bit windy but well worth the effort of a 4.30 start......

Only 13 years old, went today to the fosdyke near lincoln to land my personal best pike of about 6lbs, caught on a jelly lure well worth the visit to the fosdyke

Well done mate, love the jelly type lures nice to pick up the odd fish on lures still...

try to catch a pike on the fly when you get a take on that your hart stops it is breth taking m8

Well, Wed trip was called off,sort of, not for the want of trying but the water i had pin pointed to fish was iced over with 12mm ice !! even in the boat with an electric outboad cound'nt progress........plus casting a bait out and it skids across the top hmmmmm you sort of know your wasting your time...i ended up heading to all my syndicate waters looking for water to cast into, my 4th syn had this, so i cast a bait or three out to 3 runs in 40mins !! all very small jacks around 5lb mark but nice after a dificult start to the day..........and as for the fly fishing for pike, every pike angler has to try it, i love fishing the fly for them ...

Nope, i think winter hands down had four today 9lb, 11lb08oz,12lb12oz and 16lb12oz....still got my four fish per trip this winter, min,so all good..

i think summer is best as well mate. u caught many pike in summer this year..
