perch fishing

this time of year what do you think is the best solution to catch perch in a pond?

bit of chopped worm & fish lobworm or half a one on the hook....good luck ....i have so much trouble this year catching a perch.....if you catch one you can teach me how to catch one
seriously i would always use worm

i get loads of perch this time of year on single red maggot but there tiny im after a good sixe 1/2lb+ and did you mean big worm or not?

was out last saturday didn't expect much to happen but i was surprised when i had 5 decent sized fish all above 1 1/2lb and the biggest was 2lb on lobs fished with a feeder of chopped worm
