first pike

Good to get the takes mate and a nice size Perch....

2 lb perch .......ouch im jealous the perch is my favourite species of fish & for some reason i have had real problems trying to catch em this year ......opps last year 2007

Find a nice river with a nice head of fish find a nice back eddy that doesn't disappear too regularly try there had two fish in two casts on worms -- both 2.5lb -- before the trout came and took over

don't use a pike gag!!!!! This isn't the 1970's, go with someone who has landed pike before mate

Pike gags are totally un-necessary and harm the fish

YES and is totally un-necessary if you read earlier posts there is the right way to hold and unhook pike

the Gill Under the chin, opens its mouth due to he weigth of the pike, ive seen these gagsand hadone given me, neva used it, just wore gloves
