Best Lure?

I have many lures in my tackle box, but my favourite is definatly the mepps black furry. It is an amazing lure for perch.

But what are the best lures for pike?

I use Dexters wedges at the sea side for Bass, would they be any good?

put it this way my friend. i do alot of course fishing, and i have a box overflowing with different feeders, plastic cage, metal cage, 1 oz 2 oz 3oz, open end, block end, black cap ect ect. through trial and error i know what feeder to use in what situation, but i never know what im going to use until im at my peg. my point is thus, the only way your ever know about your lures is if you try them yourself get to know them and your start to see which ones work well in what conditions ect. for you there will be no magic lure which will catch fish no matter what, the same as i will never have the perfect feeder or hooks or float. my advice would be see if you can get yourself a pack of different lure and spinners to try, that way you never have to buy the ones that don't work again and you can stock up on similar patterns to the ones you catch your giant perch with

size 5 mepps comet spinner and the old shakespeare 'big s' plug, these two always seem to work for me

i find shads the best mainly because i have never caught pike on anything else ( and i have a lot of lures )
