there are loads of stuff on dead baiting

on here and all over the web
Personally I DO NOT use live bait for predators as it gives the anti's too much ammo to try even harder to get angling banned remember after hunting we're liable to be next on their target board

if you've never been pike fishing before
1) always use a 20lb wire trace
2) always use forceps to remove hooks
3) take someone with you who has experience with pike
4) use an unhooking mat (if you dont have one use a patch of soft grass)
5) ensure the pike is fully recovered when you return it

good luck

I do hope so but the problem Angling has got is that the majority of anglers are silent

there is only a really really small minority of us who speak out

in the time of the credit crunch i doubt they will want to ruin thousands of small tackle bussinesses and major manufacturers, putting thousands out of work all for the sake of some tossers who know f all about angling

theres a world of difference between a peaceful past time of catching fish and ensuring they return to the water safely, and chasing a poor inocent fox around the countryside with a pack of dogs
