Pike in flood

Does anyone know if luring on swolen, brown rivers can be productive at all?

i have had pike and perch on lures at my local river in the summer and winter but never when the water is brown and flooded.

i like this typeof fishing as i can tarvel light and dont have much to pack up when i feel like leaving.

Does anyone have any suggestions on lure/spinner type or colour etc.
