perch

heya i seem to of caught my biggest perch when catching lots of little roach,rud etc how would you set up a live bait rig ( pikes are present )

A paternoster rig is my favoured approach. And a gudgeon seems to be the fav for perch strikes...! Small roach seem to attract more jacks, thats my opinion anyway.

Lightbulb use maggots

i fish at king fisher pool in warwick and have caught lots of perch on size 14 hooks with 6 lb line and a cocktail of red,white and yellow maggots.
As 1/2 a pint only costs 1.00 i find them a cheap and reliable perch bait
