1st time pike fishing any tips

Hi there i am hopeing to go to loch awe in scotland this weekend for some pikw for a change the only thing is i havent fished for them before and i was wondering if any of you guys had any tips on good bait to use, best rig to use and and hints for loch awe if any one has ever been thanks

i use 3 rods rod 1 i spod witha spod rocket dead maggots not casters
with a roach as hook bait for the pike on rod 2 i use maety boilies on rod 3

anyway i always take a lure rod just because some times a moving bait gets them intrested and its fun

here is a good idea dont put your feet in the water when pike fishing they will eat them

that really wouldnt work pike are as scared of u as you are as scared of them biting you !! an you would have to be a slight idiot

that would never happen!! unless you wave them infront of its face!! probs ent the best of ideas but i dowt it would happen...
