Car parking is no problem and is just a few strides from the lake.
There is a cafe where you can also buy pellets, food and hot drinks are ordered and delivered to your peg, and there are toilet facilities.
There is also a section reserved for disabled anglers with easy access

Current Prices

The current charge is £6 per full day with a reduction for consessions

Fishing is from 7:00am to Dusk (9:30pm latest)

from March to end October
Matches arranged by calling the fishery direct

This is one of the best carp waters in the North West. The fishery is
around 3 - 8ft in depth though many carp are taken from the margins
in depths of around 10 inches. Matches are held on Saturdays with
some junior matches also held and weights regularly hit 150lb plus.
The average carp will be around the 5-6lb mark going up to over
20lb. You are almost certain to hit at least one double figure fish on
every visit.
Some nice Tench have also been caught this year from the margins
along with the occasional eel.
The island is an obvious hotspot and there are several pegs from which
you can fish the island with a measured cast.

How to get there

The fishery is situated off the M55 in Kirkham.

Exit the M55 at junction 3 and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted for Fleetwood. After approx 1/4 mile you'll see the Blue Anchor pub on your right hand side. Just past the pub is Greenhalgh Lane on your left, turn in here and follow the road for about a mile, the fishery is on the right hand side
