REX HUNT=Annoying ****

Of all the fishing shows on the tv this guy has got to be the most annoying in my opinion rex hunt = annoying (please suggest your own 4 letter word)

He's OK but what with Bushy and that random Chef!? It isn't a cookery programme!

actually the one part of his show i do like is the recipes for fish !!

He's a most annoying %&^&*&*^*&^& when he kisses fish

Don't they have fish diesease or WEIL'S disease out there ??
IF someone tried copying him over here they coul quite easily kill themselves

BTW for those of you who don't know Weil's disease is carried by rats and pssed on by their urine and can kill humans

Then the techniques he uses are NOT fish friendly as most of their fishing is for the pot

there was one show when he was in england fly fishing for trout on a pond....i had to laugh because everyone caught ; apart from him...........

yes i have to agree he is very annoying.

I remember he came to England once and went with John Wilson to one of his private lakes in Norfolk. Obviously Rexy was hammered!

Thank god its not only me who thinks this man is a complete TWAT.
I'm not sure who is worse the twat or wilson .who would rather chat about plants or birds than fishing .

yea this guy is annoying and they have him on the bleeding real time extra channel why couldnt they have something better on this weekend like total fishing or the great/er rod race or something

You might find him annoying but kids love him and he's raised the profile of fishing higher than all the other TV anglers put together.

You also can't deny the variety of fish and methods compared to the UK shows. Is there anyone who wants to see someone catching the same old carp or bream or chub from a featureless location?

The recent rise of lure fishing in the UK is certainly down to Rex Hunt without a shadow of a doubt - not to mention fishing from canoes etc.

I know there's a poll on another thread but Discovery H&L have surveyed this and can confirm that Rex Hunt Fishing Adventures is their most successful fishing show.

You also can't deny that the locations are much better than diva Matt Hayes (now surely you must find him annoying?) fishing in some "hole in the ground" for some tame carp?

I personally prefer John Wilson and John Wilson's Fishing Safari certainly came close to matching Rexy for variety of fish and locations.

However, Rex is the number 1 UK TV angler according to the real polls!
