i really like shakespeare stuff it seems to be made well
but for cheap good stuff i always go to dragon carp

Seems to me depending where abouts your located you tend to use what your local tackle shops stock, as i can say this neck of the woods its more Fox, Shimano, Masterline, so its a job for me to vote, but i guess Daiwa would be the one from the list but not had any of there stuff for ten years...Hardy is another thats been said, Century best rods ever made, Chub also TFG make fantasic stuff....ticky one the market seems flooded with companies

I've not voted as I use hatever feels good to me brand doesn't come into it

there is too much of this brand is better than that one to me if tackle does the job I want it for and feels right in my ands that's fine


Cost is also a factor I'm not made of money and some of the brands are priced stupidly high -- and it's not build quality unless you go for a specialist hand made piece of kit 99% of it comes from the smae workshops in Japan or China

It's just gotta be defiantly Shakespeare for me! Almost everything i have is made by Shakespeare. They have good quality equipment! Or mustad.
