beginner

I have just starting fishing again. It has been about five years since i have done it. I go out quite often, but I think that I am doing something wrong. All of the fish that I do catch, my friend throws them back. What am I doing wrong?

I am new at this. Im not sure on how to read a reply. Can someone please help me out?

Im not having a conversation with myself. Im just trying to figure this forum stuff out. Seems that everyone wants to be rude and not help me.

I had caught a 15" bass the other day. I also caught a 10" catfish, all in the same day. Along with a few little blue gills. Ended up throwing them all back instead of keeping them and cooking them.

There is no need to be rude. I am just trying to have a little fun just like everyone else. Lets start over and try this again.
