Luck??
How much of fishing is just the luck on the day? How much is skill from years of practice? Any of the pros here have days when they just can't get a bite??

Yeah m8, I believe it's 50% luck and the rest skill and the right gear. I've had days where I haven't caught a thing and my mate right next to me got loads of big carp.don't worry youlle get a day whereyou catch loads soon! Keep tryin'!!!

Well yes there is luck in fishing but you know with the right know how you can get that one bite when others don't but if the fish are not playing ball then it is pack and go home time....i blanked for the first time in over 30 years not so long ago although i did miss one take,now that was a record i was proud of but these things happen
 .Knowing how to present your baits play a big part in fishing and if you crack that then lady luck is kept at a distance and you can get a bite when all seems lost
