Nice idea not seen one used yet

the use of a bank stick alone would do especially if you used a sliding ledger rest for the pole I'd not bither with the accessory arm might get in the way

it depends which you would feel more comfterble with really.
the larger the arm you use the further away from you it will be.

Just so they can sell accessory arms ?????

I am an old cynic

I believe 90% of fishing tackle is to hook the fisherman not get more fish on the bank

I use a Octoplus system on my box
bought it before they made the wide one so cut the bar in half put some Hardwood in it and extended the system to be wider than the box
I DID buy the pole hooks these are non sprung versions of the claw and I use them in conjuction with a sliding carp ledger rest on a long bank stick in the water as far away as I can safely reach from the bank to push it in the mud

Works fine for me

worms,go for a short 4"to medium 6" arm, when fishing long pole a lot of weight is held by the claw and i would imagine a longer arm would bend/twist after a short time.
