Exclamation fish killers

in a local fishery there was 13 dead fish one day because the eastern europian people had shot them with a crossbow whilst the carp were spawning, filleting them and throwing their carcass in the water!!!!!!
they should be in prisoned.

If you see this happening
1/ video or phot it
2/ring the EA get them out
3/ ring the police

One note that WILL get the Police there fast is if they have a knife (filleting knife) tell the Police that they have a huge knife you WILL get a response then and fast

especially if they are threatening anyone as they are then considered ARMED

Chris
When we are in France yes we are the foreigners but the folk we are discussing here are visitors to the UK who see OUR fishing lakes as ready stocked larders for the plundering
When caught they plead ignorance when in fact they are fully aware that they need licences and are supposed not to kill fish but they don't care they just see free food

Even in France where I sometimes help out as Bailiff we get folk leaving dead-lines for carp

Lightbulb I see your point

I understand what you mean by this and it's mainly polish who come over as I have seen them at my local river taking grayling home.

This debate on foreign nationals killing & eating our Carp & Pike is all over the forums & is a contentious issue. Ok, we cannot bury our heads in the sand & pretend it doesnt happen because it does, how big the actual problem is is uncertain to me as ive yet to actually come across them doing this. However, there are loads of stories i have read of peoples experiences with them doing this. We have to remember that there are game anglers, match anglers, some bailiffs as well as Cormorants & even Herons at fault also.
