Christmas

Who likes to get brand new fishing gear at XMAS?
For the last 2 years i have got bits and bobs-rods and flys.

Who else is the same?
And do adults do so?

I'm sure lots of fishers do.
I personnaly do.
But i always get the small things i need - like hooks etc. - out of my own pocket money during the year.
For Christmas - i always get money - ussaly around £150 - and latly with that - i'd buy a kit, rod, reel etc. - and then spend the rest on other bits and bobs (not fishing - computer games etc.) - and possibly put a tenner in the bank.

COurse fishing stuff=no i got a rod on my birthday in october

Fly fishing=august so not yet and its doing well for me

Maybe new flys etc.

And a new fly fishing jacket.

I am thinking of getting a camcorder this year because i do Vlogs on youtube (video blogs) and i need a better one.

Sorry
Couldn't resist the joke

I get tackle and kit when I've got the money and nothing else I need to spend it on

for me the biggest cost in life is the courses I have to pay for to keep up-to-date as a practising nurse

some of the companies think we have bottomless wallets

one I looked at recently was for
the three days £375
then for food £175
and you needed accomodation near the centre of London too on top

looks like the bulgarian spammers are flooding in now.

i was going to get fishing stuff for christmas but my mum said to get it for my birthday nearer to the season.

i think i'm getting a 500G external hard drive for all my photos. might also be getting a webcam and microphone.

fw.
