Float, waggler. Mosetly cause I can get to the fish easier then pole. However I havend tried superlong 14m TAP poles yet. I might like that. What I like about pole is that it's easy to "cast" and land the fish by swinging it in. However it doesnt work with big ones and I have never succeded in making a rig with thi rigt length to land the fish in the landing net. Waggler gives me more (and easier) "control" over the fish and fishing. (However I''ve ony used a 10.5fot UL rod for this type of fishing so far, I ordered a 17fot match rod but it's a bit late....)
