Depends what species you are after

Eels & Catfish tend to come on to feed as it gets dark and using a feeder and accurate casting will allow you to build up a carpet of attractants to get the fish feeding

The only time I have personally fished this way is on the Norfolk Broads once the boats had stopped there are obviously other areas that can be fished this way but I have not fishedthem

The only problem with night fishing is I have trouble seeing in low light
so have to use a high power LED headlight
so that kills my night vision as well

bad burnt as scalded eH!
