Fishing Holiday - please help

Im going on holiday in june, somewhere in england for a week. I want somewhere where you can stay in a hotel/caravan and you can go fishing on lakes like a short drive away. Im not looking for something like whiteacres , just a hotel where you can drive to venues .... can anyone reccomend anywhere ?

This is a great place to stay... me, my good lady and my labrador had a week here last year.........its great for a little fly fishing in the brookes for trout and Greyling and you also have a very well stocked fishery two mins up the road, full of fish....this is the place i fly fished for carp and had 35 in a few hours..lovely area around the New Forest plus lots of rivers that i never got the chance to try in a week.
The cottage we had, outside my back door when opened, had a bridge over the stream with trout dashing about, the gardens are great for an evening just relaxing or a meal and its very private.
The mill has fresh bread every day, thats a great smell....and outside the front door the stream runs into the mills workings and the wheel, this is also full of some wild trout, Greyling and small chub...........had loads of places to run the hound out every morning also, top place and i would go back for sure......
