Best Fly for Rainbow/Brown Trout???

Tried "hundreds" of different flies to catch rainbow/brown but only caught a couple of fish best so far for me was the Green-Rainbowheaded Trout fly and I was just wondering what others flies ppl get catches with. Just recommendations. Thanks.

Each stretch of water needs a different fly

By watching for a while before fishing, look around, find out what's flying close to the water surface
watch whats hatching

then match your fly to those or if theres lots of different stuff try a weird fly (Orange Booby etc) sometimes it works by standing out from the crowd

Then you've also got the fact that it doesn't matter what fly you present the trout just are not taking anything

I often use shipmans buzzer at this time of year on stillwaters for trout fish it very slowly on an intermediate line or a floating line with a long leader i find it excellent at this time of year also try bloodworm,buzzers and snails on same tactics or you could go fluff chucking with anything orange or green/olive at this time of year.

Incidently could you possibly post a picture of the "green rainbowheaded trout fly" i have been fly fishing since i could walk and i have never seen one of those!!!!

i have been fishing recently with a floating line and a long leeder, shipmans buzzer and a Turrall buzzer claret or a shrimp works a treat !!!!
