Errr in hot weather there's a possibility but you may find that Perch will grab the flies first
Especially as most flies to interest Roach will need to have a red tag
Better floating bread punch

I have found that Rudd are more of a problem than Perch when fy fishing a lake with mixed stock..as they are just under the water layers when the suns up..
