Re: brook fishing help!!!

Colour will depend if it's been raining

try wet flies especially caddis's
but worm may be more profitable

watch out for them minnows

Re: brook fishing help!!!

Well I sometimes do fly fishing when theres alot of spawns. But I think if you want to try for brookies and worms don't really work them you need help try a different setup on them or try something new like minnows. Then if they don't want to work try spinners and then when the mayflies come up out of the water then use your flies and see what happens. Because I like using different types of trout fishing before using the flies. Also each creek isn't the same different techiques work on different creeks. ;-)

Re: brook fishing help!!!

better yet in fly fishing find a hatch where the mayflies are coming fresh out of the water and sooner or later the trout will be coming after them.
