SeaTrout in JURA

I'm going to the Isle of Jura in June and was thinking of trying for seatrout. Any advice as to flies, line and tactics would be much appreciated, as would any first hand accounts of fishing there...

cheers

Re: SeaTrout in JURA

I'm thinking that the seatrout are similar to the ones where I live. They love small poppers but will bite several streamer patterns also. Here's a list of what I use.

SeaDucers - A Chico Fernendez Pattern
Dalburg diver - A deer hair thing-a-ma-bob
Deer Hair Poppers - SeaTrout love noise

Use a 7 to 8 weight Rod.

Here's a picture of our seatrout. I don't know if the one's your after are the same species.
