Thumbs up the best top ten tips!!

cornish, yes i have copied you but in fly style(sorry)
feel free to delete this thread cornish.

its no where near as good as any of yours anyway!
the tips

1.Make sure you know what your doing you cant buy a rod and not know what to do!

2.Vary where you fish.Dont stick to the nearest fishery-and go on fishing holidays!(of course money is involved)

3.this is a very important one!wear sunglasses to protect your face!
even when its raining-you may look barmy on a rainy day!

4.Experiment!
change you flys and animate them in different ways. Also cast into different parts of the water!

5.Buy a magazine weekly or a book-magazines are good because you get free flys and new info every week!

6.Never fish off the same spot!

every fisherman should know this!

7.Windy means stop!

Trust me you dont want a fly in your eye or down there!

8.When you cant go fishing on a sunny day because somthing or other!
practice int the garden(i have a big one)or an open field!

9.do research on the internet and watch other videos

10.Have fun and i hope you all will become pros

will!
agree with the last one and feel free to debate

Hi, Will. When i first saw he title of this thread - i thought - ''why the cheecky member''!
But then i remembered it's fly fishing so no worries - i think it's good to have a ''top 10'' guide for each type of fishing so this will come in handy!
Thanks for the compliment, by the way!
I can't delete this as it's on the fly fishing forum and i only moderate the sea fishing forum but i wouldn't if i could anyway cause it's GREAT - thanks!
