help

hi all,

i'm new to fishing.
i want to fish for salmon and sea trout in the sea, so one way is flys.

any info will help.

hello

i never usually fly fish in the sea but i have heard it can be great fun!!

i dont live near the coast so i never get a chance to but i luuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrveeee freshwater fly fishing so ask me any questions on that

sorry i couldnt help you but keep using the fly fishing forum!

a good thing to do would be to search on google all these things because they have answers to everything.

ps.this will help you if you watch tight lines on friday i think its at 6pm on sky sports 2 there is a england internation fly fisher going on the show and you might find that interesting!

well read in a book that said you can use freshwater tactics in the sea.

so what rod should i get?
there's a 8 - 9 ft ro tompson in my local shop that comes with reel, line and fly.
do you know what flys are good for salmon and sea trout?

any other info or tactics would be great.

oh, also can you give me some info on building your own rod, that would be easy to build and would cost 30 pounds max.

will stay on this forum as not many people come on.

well have a look on my thread about all the different types of flies that i always have!

if sea trout are the same use a daddy long legs fly they are great!

search on wiki how or google if you want to build your own rod supplies will be £10-£20

is there another name for daddy long legs fly. i couldn't find it in the shop.
