Hi, when your looking for specialist items like that you are going to struggle to find them in shops because they just don't sell enough. Can you not order them from those sites?

If your bothered about putting you card details online you could always send me a cheque/cash if you like and ill order them for you with my card?

Darren.

thanks for replying darren,, well mate,, i have searched on google for hours, lol, also rang various tackle shops up,, even by brother who has his own takle shop struggled to get any patterns,i have now got a few coming through the post to me from 2 tackle shops,, the one being Fly Shack Game Fishing Tackle direct and online - Home
very help full and good to deal with, the other being Budget Baits and Tackle Ltd - Home
from what i have been told off others and tackle sop owners snail patterns are more used in america,, reason being is the climate, snails become more active in july augaust in thsi country when our weather is at its best, lol notice i said when as we dont have much good weather over here, but in america and other warmer countrys the snila move alot more all year around,, july augaust is the time when snails reach the upper reaches of water and congregrate on lillys or other weeds in surface water where the oxygen is more,, they all climb on the foilage and then a few drop off, learn something new every day.,lol a bit of useless information i thought i would share with you all, thanks again darren for offering to send off for the flys if i needed them,, i am off out monday for the day fly fishing so if i get any photos i will put them up,, tight lines, kev

was out early this morning and up big wels for 7.20,, no one else was there,, after a cuppa of colin the owner,, which by the way, tea is free all day, lol, i like my cuppas,, any way,, he said it had been busy over the weekend,, the busiest it had ever been,,, but he went on to say that the fishing was hard due to the weather, only got the 1 photo of a fish but i had 7 fish in total and my mate had 4, 4 of my trout were caught on a immitation trout pellet,1 on a normal blue bottle fly , and the other 2 were caught on ear plug, i will get a photo of the ear plug and put it up,, the plan was to paint the ear plug black,, its a ribbed ear plug and we was hoping we could do a snail pattern,if painted balck it would of looked liek a snail, however due to the ear plug being rubber the paint flakes off, so after 2 casts it was bright yellow,, but the trout were still interested so i carried on much to the amusement of others and caught 2 fish, lol, photos below of up big wells today,,
