Lake PB France

I've been fishing Lake PB in France for six years and is a fantastic fishery just outside Le Mans..
Grass Carp over 40lb, Commons 40lb plus, Mirror Carp to 60lb, Sturgeon to 30lb plus and Catfish over 55lb very well stocked lake....The lake is run by Lakeescapes well worth a look if you are planning a trip to France..

Well the web site is Carp fishing tours by Lake Escapes - worldwide fishing adventures and you can get lots of info there plus photos and reports as for accomadation the lake is closed off by top quality fencing so once in everything is secure...its a bivvie job, although i'm sure some things can be sorted, if need to stay elsewhere..plus there is a camper stop over the road from the lake...and the lake is just outside Le Mans check out the web !!

may even stop-over next year on our route home from Twin Lakes if I can find a suitable site

You will not be disapointed, if that way well worth a look but you will have to arrange that first as the lake is very secure, thats a good thing..

At present research for May is on hold but after Tuesday will be looking
Understand about security

A little idea of what it can be like is at Twin Lakes they have a "No Kill" policy and the number of French who want a BIG carp for a special occasion are huge
We had to put one off by saying he could fish but we would watch him like an Eagle and if he killed just one fish it would be €3000 per fish and that included Pumpkinseed -- he left without fishing calling US thieves!

Well no chance of that at PB as Kelvin the bailiff a North London guy is on the lake 24/7 and he does not take any rule breaking lightly......you know where you stand with him..the only way to be i think
