Brittany lakes

Dear all,

I would like to ask for any advice regarding my property in Brittany, France
which happens to be 10 minutes away from the European Specimen Angling
Centre at Loscouet sur Meu (Le Lac Fishabil).
From spring, 2008 we are hoping to offer guest accommodation in the form of
Bed, breakfast and evening meal within the main farmhouse.
Can you suggest where we might advertise this and if this is the sort of
thing that would appeal to anglers.
The house is large and attractive and there are many other lakes and rivers
in the area. We think we will initially offer one en-suite room with two
single beds with an additional room available (sharing that same
bathroom). The idea being, that small groups of anglers could go away
together or a family.
We are new to this so any advice on what angler would expect would be much appreciated.

Hi Robert

Well advertising is a funny thing but obviously fishing forums is a good start

Aim at some carp orientated ones as well
there are lots of expat sites for Brittany as it's a popular place for us (I'm on two at least ) although they are not really your target punter

If you approach other web forums and tell them what you need them to know then you should have no problem getting space

For us we would love a nice article with pictures and prices (most important it's a long way to go and budgeting is paramount)
