Himley Hall West Midlands

This is a Estate lake and now a park but it is a great place to be in the summer with plenty of fish to catch on a day ticket costing £4.80p.

It is targeted by a lot of carp anglers these days but if anyone watched the great rod race then you would have seen Matt Hayes and Mick Brown catching what this venue is more better known for and that is it's Tench and Crucian, not a easy venue though you do have to be prepared for lots of hard work in getting the fish to play ball but here are a few photos of the venue...

Fishing there is really good, there are some Stonking pike and carp in there... had me a nice tench back last year.. But there are birds there.. forgot what they are called but they kept diving down into my swim.. swimming around for a minute and then resurfacing with fish! not good they followed us when we moved!!
