Previously a syndicate venue and prior to that leased to The Royal Leamington Spa Angling Association, following requests from local anglers it opened for day-tickets in April 2006.

The 24-acre fishery is probably better known locally as Snitterfield Fruit Farm.

It currently offers four waters of widely differing character whilst construction is now complete on a further two waters, one of which is being developed as a carp and tench water which is expected to be opened in late 2007 and the other lake will be used as a stock pool.

Soon to be built in summer 2007, a timber-faced clubhouse which will incorporate changing rooms, ladies and gents toilets and a cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks.

Irrespective of their size, each lake has only 20 pegs, which means there is plenty of room between anglers, and all waters are served by a large car park at the end of the access drive. Anglers should start fishing on arrival as the bailiff will collect ticket money on the bank.

It all combines to make Arden an interesting and varied fishery which should appeal to a wide range of anglers from those looking for a pleasant day's easy fishing where they are virtually assured of a decent catch to carpers after double figure fish in traditional surroundings.
