i would try the feeder just with maggots, castor or worm on the hook? but it depends how deep the pond is you are fishing? only proplem you will still end up with the odd skimmer bream, and anything else that in the pond? but it should do the trick, i fished a local ressy just withe block end feeder an maggots had about 25+ perch? nothing else

Liquidised maggot takes a lot of beating at this time of year assuming your fishing pole and you can cup slop in Ben. It draws perch from miles and roach love it too. Beware though it realy stinks and is repulsive goo.
Chopped worm and caster too but dont put too much in. |

maggots
red maggots is the best for both the roach and perch,
fill a maggot feeder up with red maggot and fish maggots on the hook but trying a different colour to the maggots in the feeder might get your quicker bites, just keep trying different colours and varieties i,e maggots, pinkies, squatts. a piece of corn might pick out the better roach aswell as caster |
