Talking

Simple is best.

Bread crumb.
crushed hemp.
hemp oil.

Mix with the liquid from a tin of corn,

as you feed ad a few particles to match your hook-bait.
this way the only feed in the water is a couple of free offerings around your hook-bait and a lot of smell nice nothing.

Works for me.

Now then that sounds similar to the mix that we used in Gran Canaria except it had wild bird seed in as well plus some molasses and left to soak/ferment for a couple of days

homemade groundbait.

hi.

what i do is go 2 summerfield and buy a cheap loaf ov white bread the cheapest you can get. Also i buy the little tubs of flavourings e.g chilli powder, mix spices or cumin. When i have got what i need i cut the crust off the bread and them liquidise a few rounds of bread at a time, untill it is almost like dust, then i slowly trickle abit ov water into the mix, i use the rain water out ov the water butt(jus a personel preference), then i add the flovour such as chilli powder jus 2 give it that little bit of an extra "kick".I sometimes add particles such as sweetcorn or i like 2 add hemp seed to my mix, i always finds that works well, but it depends on the water you fish, and it is also down to personel preference alot.

hope this helps you.

oh i had a cracking time at my local fishery (nothing big of course )
i got a nice moist full peice of bread and ripped the crust off and in the middle of the bread placed some sweet corn a bit of lunchion meat and some maggots and some chopped up worm and i rolled and squeesed the bread into a ball and threw it out and after 5 minuites there was a feeding frenzy !

Brown bread crumb and molasses for bream. maybe put in some stewed wheat or sweetcorn.

Mashed bread is also a great cheap bait for loads of species of fish, and very underated in my opinion.

Get a cheap white loaf and soak about half of it in some of the water of where you are fishing. mash it with your hands and ball in as you would normal groundbait. Bream, and chub love it. specially if you fish flake or punch over the top
