session on trent

as i was riding down to my spot there were two or three fishing on the way down and twqo were long trotting with maggits and hemp and one had two rods out going for the barbel but i didnt really take notice of him, although when i went past he had a cracking pull round on his tip!

hi folks , ive not fished the trent for years and always wanted to go back and fish a length called the cherry tree length!! it must be 15 to 20 years ago and i will never forget it,it was in the days when clubs from the north west use to go down on coaches !!! and i drew a flyer, a nice big shale bank where the cows use to come to drink from the river, had 4 pts of huge casters and about 6 pts of hemp!! well i slaughtered the chub on the stick float and it was one of those pegs you never forget!!
must get back there one day!!
