tell what i would of done mate, slid my baseball bat out of my holdall and cracked one round the head with it, then explained to his mate, if he hadnt run off, he was gonna get the same if he didnt get his low life arse off the fishery.

This is terrible to hear.

I am the Chairman of a small club with two waters in Rutland and the only problem we get with a few younsters is a bit of litter which we can obviously just pick up.

But to hear about the acts of the louts you mention is terrible and disgraceful.

The acts of these few yobs effects and stops many going fishing I am sure. And not only the younsters but older anglers also as some of these gangs will stop at nothing.
I heard of a carper having ALL his gear taken from him on the bank at a commercial. He was held at knife point whilst the other guy loaded the gear.

I love my fishing and pleased to say, up till now, have never had to encounter any such behavior and feel for those that have.
