I couldnt believe it, there I was with a light quiver tip outfit, only cast out a metre because the current was to strong, using up some mouldy corn from when I had be fishing in the lake district a 3weeks before and some worms I'd destroyed my mums garden for!

I got the shock of my life, I was only after chub and bream that day! :P

alright english pride,rivercarper1 here,hows the fishing been?ive only joined today but im gonna post some photos soon,ive been fishing this spot near to kingston,had quite a few carp up to 39lb10oz,ill post the photos for ya within the next few days or pop down barge walk 2moz me and my mate are doing a nite session untill fri ill bring the photos with me,its good to meet another fellow carper who fishes the thames regulary,cracking 21lb mate,ive only had 3 commons this year out the rest have been mirrors+1 leather,tight lines mate.
