Whiteacres

I went to whiteacres in Cornwall for 4 nights, three days fishing on three different lakes... It was sh**! I caught 4 small roach, my dad had 2 2lb or less carp and my dads friend had three small carp like that. Maybe we are just spoilt because at our local lakes we think a 5pounder is ' small' and don't get excited if it's under 10lb!! That's carp obviosly. And has anyone had a catfish out of pats pool at whiteacres? Cheers

Which lakes did you go on mate, its very odd that you wouldnt catch a lot down there, must be the time of year ?

We had a day on pats pool, diddnt get a catfish but got a F1 and a few others, if you went on Sycamore, i wouldnt believe you if you said you diddnt catch - when its fishing well you get a fish a chuck.

Also theres an off site set of lakes, called Bolingey, you dont have to pay any extra, but that is amazing, unlike anything ive been on before, i used pellets from the whiteacres shop, and i got 26 carp i think it was in one session, all decent size. Amazing.

hi mate, went on pollywan, python and on the last day the pleasure lakes were shut for a match so had a day on pats pool, had a nice roach on pats but nothing else the entire time. on polywan tho there was one guy the other side of an island with a pole and he got 3 carp, one was 15lb one was 18lb and the other was about 20lb. the guy near us was well pissed about that!!!he got nothing either. and the car journey was sooooooooooooooooo boring!lol 4 and a half miles each way!
